It's 9/11, and I would prefer to lay off the politics

But having Wexler Cohen* claim (falsely) that Jesus was a "community organizer" (He most certainly was not, stating that the political stuff is to be rendered unto Caesar; it was not what He was here for) and Pontius Pilate was a governor.

To this, I say (and I quote from memory; I can't recall who first said it):

Pontius Pilate voted "present".

* I tried to blame it on a Florida congressman (home of my sister and co-blogger Daria) but I was wrong; it was Cohen (a congressman from Tennessee, my home state!).

I thought it was Rep. Steve Cohen from Memphis who started this...maybe he just ran with it after Wexler brought it up first. Birds of a feather and all. Gee, maybe Congress should spend their time on more productive things like...oh, you know, voting on a bill to allow for domestic drilling!
