Republicans Have the " Big Mo"

John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin as his running mate was a stroke of genius and may go down in history as the most brilliant VP pick of all time. Before the selection McCain was doing pretty well, and was behind Obama by a more narrow margin than he should have been given the present state of the economy and the bias of the dinosaur media.

The selection of Governor Palin exploded on this election cycle like the atom bomb over Hiroshima. It has totally changed everything. The Conservative base is completely energized. I went to an end of the summer pool party today, and many of my neighbors who had previously been tepid toward McCain are completely stoked. One of my neighbors, who happens to be a smal business owner, told me that he regularly drives by a local home which had had an Obama sign on the lawn. However, today when he drove by that same house the Obama sign was down and was replaced by a McCain sign!

Not only is the McCain - Palin ticket soaring in the polls, the Republicans actually have a chance to take back Congress. Imagine that. However, this is no time to celebrate. There is too much at stake. Now is the time to buckle down and to do all we can to ensure victory on November 4. The dinosaur media will do all it can to carry the Democrats' water the rest of the way. Also the vicious attacks from Soros and other left wing loons will be stepped up.

By the way, the date of the election is a good omen. Ronald Wilson Reagan was elected for the first time on November 4, 1980. May history repeat itself with the new Reagan - Sarah Palin.
