Newt Gingrich on Hannity and Colmes

Getting ready to call it a night, but just caught a snippet of Hannity and Colmes, where Newt Gingrich weighed in on the "God's will" question as it pertains to Charlie Gibson's mischaracterization of Governor Palin's original quote. Newt chastised the media for their (paraphrasing a bit here) "utter ignorance of the history of America," pointing out that liberal heroes such as FDR and JFK used similar language during World War II and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Sadly, logic and fact are startingly lost on Alan Colmes -- but what else is new.

If only the media had demonstrated the same tenacity in investigating Obama's 20-year relationship with Reverend "Goddamn America" Wright as they have in distorting Governor Sarah Palin's words in their desperate attempt to paint her as some rabid Christian crusader with an unquenchable lust for war.
